The Mission of Encore Jr/Sr High School for the Performing and Visual Arts
is to provide a creative, challenging and nurturing environment that offers students innovative preparation for a University education and pursuit of the arts.
With an outstanding API score of 777 and candidacy for accreditation through the Western Association of School and Colleges, graduates of Encore have continued on to four year universities, colleges and the military.
First opened in August 2008, Encore has developed a balance of a strong academic education with an amazing arts program that includes music, drama, dance, visual arts, technical arts, and creative writing. Encore is a free public school open to ALL students grades 7-12 and offers classes for young artists beginning to advanced. Encore is the PERFECT school for students who need a balance of creativity AND education to succeed.

Encore presents:
CATS!
Cats is set in a junkyard known as the Jellicle Junkyard. The show tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as “the Jellicle choice” and decide which cat will ascend to Heavyside Layer and come back to a new life! CATS features a cast of over 240 and is making its triumphant return (after 3 years) on the ENCORE Stage!

ENROLL NOW!- We are accepting enrollment packets RIGHT NOW for next year! Beat the wait list by enrolling as soon as possible!
-Enrollment packets are available at the Admissions Office. It is recommended parents and students attend our School Tour for all the info! Tours are most Wednesdays at 5:00 pm promptly. Meet at the Admissions Office. Tours take approx. 1 1/2 hours and are fun and informative. We’ll see you here!
