TEACHER CREDENTIALS

One of the myths about charter schools is that their teachers are not credentialed.  As a state funded public school, it is a requirement that all academic core teachers are credentialed by the State of California.  

This does not guarantee that OTHER charter, public, or private schools are adhering to the requirement that  teachers are credentialed in the State of California, however, Encore does guarantee that 100% of all academic A-G core teachers possess a credential validated and registered by the State of California. 

According to a recent report for the State of California, Encore’s credentialed staff has an average of seven years teaching experience.   Teaching credentials can be verified by visiting the website for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Encore Education Corporation is nonsectarian in its programs, admission policies, employment practices, and all other operations. Charter schools follow the same legislation as any public school and must adhere to the California Department of Education requirements. They are funded by state and federal means and cannot charge tuition. There is a $200 lab fee that will be requested each year to help cover annual renewable costs in all departments.
