Please read for computer glitch information.
Happy First Day of School! It appears that there may have been part of the student body that was affected by the Aeries update on Friday night. During our routine schedule rollover, it appears that there has been a glitch that has affected some student schedules and some student passwords to login to their Aeries account. Please do not worry, we are working on the situation. It looks like in the Aeries rollover, a lot of student account passwords may have been reset. If you have received an email from Aeries prompting you to reset your password without the followup email to let you know what the access code is, you are not alone and our IT and student services departments are working on it. The counseling department and I have been working on repairing schedules, but it seems like some or many of you still may not be able to access the information. We do not know how long it will take to repair the issue, but please know that we are working on it. In order to make sure that everyone is supported and that we can still start school as scheduled at 8:20 am on Monday morning - everyone will still report to their first Zoom as scheduled. JUNIOR HIGH - Log on to Zoom.us with Meeting ID: 964 6042 6337 / passcode: GOPIRATES! Log on by 8:20 am. If you do not have access to your schedule, once you leave the initial Zoom meeting, you will log in to your English teacher's class (7th Grade is Ms. Wall and 8th Grade is Ms. Greene.) If you have your schedule, you will go to your first class as planned. HIGH SCHOOL - Log on to Zoom.us with Meeting ID: 921 3849 9444 / passcode: GOPIRATES! Log on between 7:45 and 8:20 am to get the Zoom ID for your first class. Log in to your first class by 8:20 am If you do not have access to your schedule, log on to your English teacher's class for the initial class. (9th grade is Zamanis, 10th Grade is Wise, 11th and 12th Grade is Parker.) If you have your schedule, you will go to your first class as planned. Once the first class of the day is complete, if the glitch is not fixed by then, we will send an All Call text to everyone with further instructions. We apologize for this glitch. Thank you for your patience and your help through all of this. We have used Aeries as our Student Information System for 11 years and have never had this problem in the past. We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we work through the bugs. We appreciate you. Thank you to everyone that reached out today to help us identify the glitch. We will let you know updates as we get them. Sincerely, Mrs. Denise Griffin, CEO Encore Education Corporation
